Official Weigh-In Times: Early Weigh-In: 7-8:00 pm, Friday Night, September 5th

                                         Regular Weigh-In: 7-8:00 am, Saturday, September 6th

Rules Meeting:  8:30am September 6th, 2008

Lifting will begin: 9:00 AM

Admission: Spectators $5    Children 12 and under FREE

                             The Sports Clubs members get in FREE                                            

Rules: All Current NASA Rules will apply. View the entire NASA Rule Book on our Web Site at www.nasa-sports.com. All lifters are required to have a current NASA Membership Card. Cards will be available at the meet or can be ordered from the NASA web site. Membership Cards are good for 1 full year from the date of their purchase. Adult Membership is $30.00 per year. Youth and High School Memberships are $15.00 per year.

All lifters MUST wear a one piece lifting outfit (SINGLET).

No Canvas Equipment Allowed. No Open backed bench shirts allowed. Power Sports Athletes can wear a leather 4 inch belt, no other supportive equipment allowed. Raw (unequipped) athletes can wear wrist wraps, knee wraps and a belt. Knee high socks must be worn by ALL deadlifters. This is a new NASA rule. Socks will be available at the meet for $7 a pair.       DRUG TESTING WILL BE DONE AT THIS MEET.

DEFINITION OF MEETS

Powerlifting (squat, bench, deadlift)– Single ply suits and shirts may be used.

Unequipped (raw) Powerlifting – A singlet, wrist and knee wraps and belt may be worn.

Bench Only - Single ply bench shirts, wrist wraps and belt may be used.

Unequipped(raw) Bench Only- Belt and Wrist wraps allowed. NO Bench press shirts

Power Sports Full Meet & Single Lifts-No supportive equipment except a 4' belt & Singlet.

Push/Pull – Best bench press + Best Deadlift = Total. Single ply suit or bench shirt, wrist wraps, knee wraps and belt may be used.

Divisions

Youth: 12 years old or younger

Novice: Lifetime anabolic steroid free, never placed first in any national meet.

Junior: 13-23 years old Lifetime drug free

Intermediate: 24-29 years old, Anabolic steroid Free for minimum of 3 years

Pure: Lifetime Anabolic Steroid Free.

Open (natural): Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Teenage: 13-19 years of age, Anabolic steroid Free for minimum of 3 years.

High School: Currently HS enrolled lifters, Anabolic Steroid Free for life.

Sub-Master 1: 30-34 years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Sub-Master 2: 34-39 years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Sub-Master Pure: 30-39 years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for lifetime.

Masters-1: 40-49 years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Masters-2: 50-59 years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Masters-3: 60+ years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Masters-4: 70+ years of age, Anabolic Steroid Free for minimum 3 years.

Masters-Pure(M5): 40+ years of age, Lifetime Anabolic Steroid Free lifters only.

Law/Fire: Full Time Police & Fire Personnel, 3yrs. Anabolic Steroid Free

Entry Fee’s

Powerlifting, Push/Pull and BP Only (Equipped/raw/un-equipped) $45 for first division, $25 for each additional entry. High School/Teen/Youth (18yrs or younger)entry $25per division.        Late Fee after Deadline Date is $10.00 per division

Power Sports Full Meet (all 3 events-Curl, BP & DL) = $45.00,

High School/Teen/ Youth (18yrs or younger) entry $25 per division

Late Fee after Deadline Date is $10.00 additional fee per division entered.

Single lift only fees: Strict Curl Only= $45.00, Squat Only= $45.00, Bench Only=$45.00,               Deadlift Only= $45.00

Combination of Any Two Single Lift Events= $70.00

Any 3 Individual Single Lift Events=$90.00      Any 3 Individual Events & Full Meet = $105.00

Team Entry Fee

$40.00 per Team Entry. This fee is for the Team Trophy. Team Rosters MUST be turned in by the start of lifting on Saturday. A Maximum of 10 members per team. Teams may be of mixed divisions and events.

1^st thru 3^rd Place Awards for each weight class in each Division for Powerlifting, Push/Pull, BP Only and Power Sports Contests.  Outstanding lifter awards for each event (Male and Female).
