My brother, Joe McDermott, turned 70 years old, January 8th.
Celebrated his 50th Year Anniversary of Competition at the NASA Natural Nationals, January 23, 2010, setting 8 American and 8 World Records in the Masters 4 (70-79 AgeGroup) Competing in the Powerlifting Division-Bench Press and Competing in the BENCH PRESS Only Division Lifting an incredible :
BENCH PRESS 320 Lb on his 4th attempt at a bwt of 164 ! !
Joe has set Over 100 American and World Records in the Bench Press since 1980. Joe received the prestigious "Neil Miller Bench Press of Excellence" award at the NASA Athlete of the Year Awards Banquet, Saturday evening.
